Where can I find Leotard Mate?
|

The use of the trade name Leotard Mate® has been discontinued and replaced with the Activewear Mate® name. The new Mate can be used on leotards, activewear, dancewear, swimwear, bike shorts, skating dresses, tennis gear, wet suits, crop tops, boxers and more. Activewear Mate sports a clean citrus fragrance and has a new improved formula. |

How long is the shelf life? |
|
|
All the Mates have a shelf life of five years or longer if kept in a cool, dry place. Extreme temperature changes may shorten the shelf life. |

The bottle says “rinse free”. How can all the dirt be removed if you don’t rinse? |
|
|
Our Mates are formulated to lift out soil and perspiration. The soil is then kept in suspension rather than deposited on what you are washing. If you feel you must rinse, simply add a half capful of the Mate you are using to fresh rinse water. |

Can I use Hosiery Mate in the washing machine? |
|
|
Definitely. All the Mates can be used in the washing machine on the delicate cycle. We suggest using one of our anti-snag wash bags to protect delicates from the agitator. |

|
|

Do Activewear Mate and Lingerie Mate work on cotton blends? |
|
|
Yes, both Mates work well on synthetic fibers blended with cotton. |

Are Activewear Mate and Lingerie Mate effective stain removers? |
|
|
Definitely. Both Mates can remove some of the toughest stains. Simply soak the garment longer. For best results, wash the garment with a Mate as soon as possible after it is stained. |

Can Hosiery Mate, Lingerie Mate and Activewear Mate be used interchangeably? |
|
|
You will get the best results if you use the Mate designed for the type of clothing you are washing. Hosiery Mate is engineered to work best on nylon and similar materials. Lingerie Mate is engineered to clean delicates made with synthetic fabrics. Activewear Mate’s formula is engineered to clean heavier synthetic fabrics that may contain cotton or other fibers. We do not recommend using Lingerie or Activewear Mate on hosiery. |

Can Hosiery Mate be used on tights? |
|
|
We suggest using Hosiery Mate on sheer or semi-sheer tights. We recommend using Activewear Mate on opaque tights because of the heavier composition of the material. |

My Hosiery Mate smells sour. Did it go bad? |
|
|
It’s possible. When Hosiery Mate is subjected to extreme changes in temperature, the product tends to exhibit the symptoms described above. Please be assured that rigorous quality control standards are implemented during the manufacturing and shipping processes. Please contact us should this occur. |

My Hosiery Mate is lumpy. Is this normal? |
|
|
Sometimes the solution may separate and settle if the bottle has not been moved for an extended time. Gently shake Hosiery Mate. If there is still a problem, please contact us. |
